FAQ

Is Hoehn & Yahr 5 required?
The MAC neurological LCD generally supports Hoehn & Yahr 5. Some patients may qualify at H&Y 4 with strong decline documentation, but H&Y 5 is the safest starting point.
What about PD dementia?
When PD-related dementia meets FAST 7 criteria, the dementia LCD framework applies and often supports eligibility even at earlier motor stages.
